ABOUT NALUBOWA MARGARET

Death robbed the children and grand children the love Nalubowa had for them.

On Sunday, 9th October 2016, Nalubowa's daughter gave birth at Kibuli hospital. Nalubowa decided to call on her. After some time there, she decided to spend the night at the hospital. However, in the course of the night, she started filling unwell. She then became a patient who was eventually admitted with High blood pressure and Diabetes. On Tuesday both patients were discharged from Kibuli Hospital.

On Wednesday, Nalubowa checked on her daughter and then went to her Hardware in town. Nalubowa also called on her work place on Thursday, however, those with whom she took supper could not believe that by 5.00am she had breathed her last.

I came to know Nalubowa when I was requested to help her daughters register a nursery school in Kikumbi Zone by the name: Little Wonders Montessori. This school is owned by Nalubowa's daughter who is in UK and her sister heads it.

On a number of occasions, we would interact with Nalubowa be it in School Management Committee Meetings or other school functions involving parents and the children. Nalubowa has been a source of encouragement to her daughters given that starting a school and sustaining it is not easy. When I completed my assignment of having the school registered and left, one day I met Nalubowa as I had some issue to sort with the school head teacher. Nalubowa told me that they still needed my services.

One time I visited her while admitted in some health facility. She is the type who would forget about her sickness and think about the state of her Hardware business. Had she been a lazy type, she would opt to sit and have her children fend for her. She has been sparing time to go and do gardening 20 miles from Kampala along Mityana the place where she will be buried.

Pray for the family to endure through.

Grace the 1st born arrived at Mengo Hospital only to learn that her dear mother had been pronounced dead.  She had the courage to tell the group to put the body of her mother into her Harrier car and she drove up to Kikumbi home.

May the Almighty God rest Nalubowa Margaret's soul in peace.
